Hey St. Louis Friends!

Wanna join the “Thank you, I made it!” club? Come join Goddess of Destruction for a Halloween Clothing flip adventure. I’m providing a workshop for anyone who wants to have some Halloween fun and learn a couple tips and tricks on how to make your sustainable wardrobe last forever.

-We all have a clothing piece that we haven’t worn in a year. We all have a goodwill bag in the back of the closet or in the trunk of a car.

-I want you to pick a shirt, hoodie, sweater or any top and bring it with you to the workshop. There you’ll have the tools and help to make it into something you’ll actually find you’re self picking out of the closet often.

-Not only will you get a brand new piece to take home with you you’ll also receive free drinks, snacks, friends, and little sewing kit to take with you. Surprise goodies will be included too. You’ll also be accomplishing a very (god)dess-like act. You’re recycling and repurposing a textile garment and saving it from the landfills. And the tips and tricks you’ll learn will give you more opportunity to do it again in the future.

Details about the workshop:

** This will take place on Saturday, October 19th at 2pm in Benton park area.

**The workshop will be 2-4 hours. Stay as long or and little as you want. The time length depends on your project and patience. I like to leave extra room for learning, mistakes, fun, breaks, and imagination to happen.

**All tools and fabric will be provided. All you have to do is provide a top you’d like to repurpose into something cool.

**You’ll learn beginner/intermediate ways to hand sew. Tricks to cutting fabric details. Along with, easy ways to adjust shape, size and total appearance of a top. (If you are an intermediate/ advanced seamstress you can still come for the fun, community, drinks and snacks and still create whatever you want!)

** I can only accept 10 people for this workshop. The cut off to join is the 17th- two days before the workshop.

** You must fill out a Pre-Workshop sheet beforehand and pay within the week of filling it out. The Pre- workshop sheet is located in my bio.

** The workshop is $35 a person.
